The little one has been wearing shoes lately (the good on, the one with soft soles) as she’s spending a fair amount of time trying to walk (and really, letting her walk bare feet outside the house didn’t work so well anymore). Today I’ve found these cute shoes and as she’s turning one soon, I have a good excuse to buy her a new pair… I can’t wait for Christmas… I know it’s stupid because she won’t remember but Santa is going to have fun this year!

oeuf

The Fall collection from Oeuf is brilliant! The colours are lovely and they don’t make kids looking like they’re out of a Disney movie. And the style is cool but won’t make your child look like a total freak among his peers at day care! Of course I love the Angel sweater… I want to be home now… I miss my little one too much!

OohLaLaVintage

I said it before but I’m normally not so much into vintage. This said, I think I am about to change my opinion. I’ve found this fabulous dress on Ooh la la! Vintage and I just love it. So maybe this is just a question of finding the right items. Though if I think about it now, this dress would probably not suit me… I’ve been called chubby this week (my friend Emma is so sweet, isn’t she?) and chubby won’t do well with this dress. But she’s right… I had too many hot dogs this week… and too much eggs and bacon for breakfast… too much food in general. It’s really time for me to leave California and go home!

Have a look around at Imogene.org. There’s a lot of very intersting creations on their website. I’m feeling like treating myself with a new necklace… again…

petitpapillon

Just to show you I’m not a total psycho mum: I love these mobiles from le ptit papillon. They’re cute but not too sweet and it would be perfect for our daughter’s room (I would have to figure a way to combine it with the ninjas)

The girl behind those beautiful dresses is Anna, a 25 years old leaving in Brooklyn. She attended Parsons the New School for Design, majoring in Fashion Design. I immediatly failed in love with her work and can totally see myself wearing one of these above (just can’t pick one… but maybe I don’t have to choose… maybe I can have them all). I’m really looking forward to see the new pieces she’ll come up with. HAve a look around in her Etsy shop.

figsandginger.com

It’s cute and sweet and would make a perfect gift for a new mum! Anything that cute would make a new mum happy and swipe those baby blues tears away. Well you don’t have to be a mother to wear one of those, but I’m using the new mum excuse (o.k… not so new in my case) to try to get one of those (dear husband… are you reading me?)

I’ve just discovered this website: littlefactory.com and I love it. My favorite are the upper case and lower case scarves. Graphic Design can be pretty to wear too!

I like jewerly that are fun and clever. Those have been created by Melanie Favreau, a Canadian jeweller who makes unique or limited edition pieces. She has set shop at Etsy and Supermarket.

I Heart Guts, Love Your Inside

I Heart GutsMy daughter does not care for toys and care even less for plush toys, she’s much happier playing with the remote control, my wallet or a spoon. So I don’t have any excuse to buy her a plush toy from I Heart Guts and then keep it for myself… and it is a pity. I particularly love the Kidney Plush: When Urine Love. I just can picture my husband and myself checking before leaving the apartment: “do we have the kidney?” “where did you put the kidney?” “did you put the kidney in the diaper bag?”
